Design:
The design shall be such that the outline dimensions shown in the catalog are met, including the interface dimensions of MIL-STD-348 (Note: Designs are subject to change without notice).

Contact Resistance:
The center contact millivolt drop shall be measured in accordance with para. 4. 6.l4.

Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR):
Tested per Astrolab ANA Test Procedure.

Dielectric Withstand Voltage (DWV):
The test shall be per para. 4.6.13. (60 Hz at sea level per MIL-STD-202, method 301).

Corona Level:
Tested per para. 4.6.19.

RF High Potential Withstand Voltage:
Tested per para. 4.6.20.

RF Leakage:
Tested in accordance with para. 4.6.l0.

RF Insertion Loss:
The insertion loss is tested in accordance with Astrolab ANA procedure.

Mechanical Testing

Connector Durability:
Tested 500 + insertions and withdrawals showing no evidence of mechanical failure in accordance with para. 4.6.12.

Force to Engage and Disengage:
2 Inch-lbs. Max. Torque for SMA, TNC, BNC; 6 Inch-lbs. Max. Torque for type N and SC. Tested per para. 4.6.3.

Coupling Nut Retention Force:
Tested per para. 4.6.22

Mating Characteristics:
Tested in accordance with para. 4.6.5.

Hermetic Seal:
Tested l00 % in accordance with method l l, MIL-STD-202, condition C procedure I, at a leakage rate of l x l0-8 cc/sec. at l5 PSI of helium max.

Leakage:
Tested per para. 4.6.7.1. (Pressurized only)

Environmental Testing (mil-std-202)

Corrosion:
Method 101, test condition B (5% salt solution)

Vibration:
Method 204, test condition B.

Shock:
Method 213, test condition 1.

Thermal Shock:
Method 107, test condition B.

Moisture Resistance:
Method 106, step 7b omitted.
