2. Information Collection

• General. In general, you can browse the Web Sites without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. The only information we collect about you is what you yourself tell us, for example by including your contact information when requesting a quote. You can let us know at any time if you no longer wish to receive information from us, or if you would like your data to be deleted.
• Registration. At the moment our Web Sites do not require registration for using any of the available services on our Web Sites. In the future, we may consider asking users to register before placing a Request for Quote, using our Product Catalog, or using the online Cable Assembly Configurator.
• Request for Quotes, Contact Us, Catalog Requests. If you submit an RFQ, Contact Form, or Request for Catalog through the Web Sites we will request certain personally identifiable information from you on our forms. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and address.) We use this information to contact you and respond to your inquiry. If we have trouble understanding your question or require further clarification we will use this information to contact you.
• Log Files. As is true of most web sites, we may choose to gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information could include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. This information is not personally identifiable. This information would only be used to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users' movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.
• Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on this site. You can not use the Product Catalog or Configurator without allowing cookies. We may use both session ID cookies and/or persistent cookies. We use a persistent cookie to store your flash preferences. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but you will not be able to view the Product Catalog, use the Configurator, or submit an RFQ through the automated process. This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by our Web Sites. Astrolab, Inc. curently does not allow third-party cookies or tracking information on our Web Sites.
• Correspondence. If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Web Sites, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

3. Use of Information

• Generally. We use your personal information to fulfill orders and to facilitate the services you purchase or request from us. We use your personal information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities with us or our authorized representatives in the normal course of business with you.

We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your relationship with Astrolab. We may refer your inquiry to an authorized third party represtenative of Astrolab, Inc. based on the nature of your request and your geographical location.
  • Other Communications. Astrolab, Inc. may, in the future, choose to contact you and alert you about our products and services. If we choose to do this, we will provide an unsubscribe link to refrain from receiving future news announcements from us.

• Generally. Astrolab, Inc. will never sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties. However, the following describes some of the ways that we may disclose your personal information in the normal course of providing our services.
• Astrolab Authorized Representatives. We use third party representatives to provide, on our behalf, the products and services available on our Web Sites based on your geographic location.
